Ciaran McConville

I trained at Arts Ed and worked as an actor for ten years, before moving full-time to the Rose Theatre Kingston as their Director of Learning & Participation. There, I developed the community programme into one of the largest of its kind in the UK.

From 2014 to 2021 , I developed the Christmas show format for the Rose as either director or writer (often both).

In 2020, I directed my own adaptation of Lady Chatterley’s Lover for a national tour.

I currently teach IB Film and direct theatre at the wonderful TASIS England.

I love writing, but also really enjoy the more sociable side of theatre practice – directing and teaching.

I also love filmmaking, whether it’s writing the scripts or directing the actors on set. My latest short is called Night Growler.
